Dr. Rashid Sumaila, Director of the UBC Fisheries Centre and the Fisheries Economics Research Unit, will present his work on illegal fishing during a session on May 10 and offer strategies for transitioning to sustainable fisheries during a panel for the Prince’s Charities’ International Sustainability Unit Workshop on May 11.
