WWF-Canada infographic of economic impacts of an Enbridge tanker spill

WWF-Canada has created an infographic based on the results of the recent study Potential economic impact of a tanker spill on ocean-based industries in British Columbia, completed by FERU researcher Ngaio Hotte and Director Dr. Rashid Sumaila.

The infographic, Potential economic impacts of an oil spill at sea from tankers carrying oil from the proposed Northern Gateway pipeline, outlines the current value of ocean-based industries in the North Coast region and the potential economic losses in the event of a tanker spill.
